A year of gratitude

As the end of 2016 approaches, thankfulness and gratitude are just filling us up to the very brim.  This is a great time of the year to look back at 2016 and reflect on your milestones, and be grateful for your supporters, whether they may be supporters on a personal level, a professional level or a business level.  After all, a connected and supportive community is what drives us forward.

One thing we do often, and are a huge advocate of, is to write down, or tell your partner, or your close friend, 3 things you are most grateful for.  The act of acknowledging and sharing our gratitude brings us happiness and wellness – firstly, because we can impart our gratitude in others, and secondly, because we are internally identifying and reinforcing to ourselves what we are grateful for.

Three things we are truly grateful for in 2016 are: our community, our tribe and our future.

Our community

Our community launch event in early November 2016 at Lululemon Claremont Store is a perfect example that our community is a true testament to the mantra – “when you support small business, you are supporting a dream”.

We are so grateful for Lululemon opening its doors to us and Rosanna, founder of Bodyscape Yoga (see her amazing studio in Nedlands, Perth; www.bodyscapeyoga.com.au) and Lululemon ambassador, for collaborating with us in holding such fun-filled community event.  The morning consisted of all things fitness, nutrition and wellness – vinyasa flow, followed by Matcha Maiden smoothies and raw balls from the Perth local, Happy Healthy, sampling of pure and natural health, beauty and lifestyle products, our Summer Collection at Bare & Wilde’s exclusive pop-up store and of course, goodie bags filled with goodies provided by our generous sponsors (thank you Wellineux, Earth Tu Face, Nuori, Second Nature Botanicals and Mae Laine Bath Teabags)!!

We are so grateful that we filled up the entire floorspace of Lululemon Claremont Store with enthusiast yogis that morning (and even more grateful that Lululemon provided brand new yoga mats to supplement such a welcoming turnout!)

The community wellness event spoke to our values and we are so grateful for our community’s support in what we endeavour to share!

Our tribe

You know who you are – to those we came to yogi with us at Lululemon Claremont Store for our community wellness event, to those who have ordered and received our gift of wellness and to our partner brands.

It absolutely brings us joy each day when we are able to connect new and emerging health and wellness brands with those who seek to enhance their health and wellbeing. It brings us joy to know we are able to share the business stories behind each of the featured health and wellness brands in our gift box to our customers. This is our gift of wellness to you all.

Our future

Our journey has only just begun.  We are grateful for the exciting things we have in store for 2017 and for the exciting fact that we don’t know where the opportunities of 2017 will take us!

So have a think about what you are grateful for? Even better, share them with your family and friends.

Stay safe, healthy and wellthy over the festive season and have a very merry new year!

Let’s be bare, and be wilde!
